It’s the remarkable interplay between the magnet strength that is the genii of this box. Some strong and some weak. That means some parts release to allow the strong to lock. A true magnet expert was at play here. This is for cards. Everything is for cards, balls and rings and it’s far better to run in the opposite direction. I decided to be ironic. I love tricks that use the secret of the trick right out in the open and throw it into the faces of spectators and they still can’t work it out. Private laugh for me. In this case the secret is magnets and so I’ll use a couple of classic horseshoe magnets. Open box and show the two clinging magnets. Already it’s more intriguing than a playing card. Display how the magnets cling and are forced apart. This is a beautiful box for doing this with easy slide and hold on the quite silky velvet surface. This is a high quality lining and not what we expect with tricks. This box is a thing of beauty. Slide to show how the magnets repel. Everybody knows this so you don’t to explain much or do a song and dance. Close the box and say that there’s a special tonal ambience built into the box. I use a tuning fork to 'turn the box'. You open the box quickly and set the magnets to repel and quickly shut the box, “We wouldn’t want any of the ambience to escape, would we?” Then wink. "Let's see how far they're thrown apart". Look at your watch [even if you don’t wear one] and count to five. Nobody counts to five and so be different. When you open the box, be damed one or both magnets have disappeared. “Where are they [it]? They sometimes jump on to nearby metal”. Naturally you’ve found an excuse to go near a chair or other metal thing and hide you revelation item[s] there”. Just like the famous ash on the hand trick, you can do the dirty work in advance or during the trick. It's easy because magnets attach fast. Put a little tape on the ends so that there's no clink. They will scream and faint when they make the discovery. If magnets have landed under someone's chair … say, "You are sooo magnetic". Ian.

It appears in the video for the Off-On Box that he takes a deck of cards out of the box before using, however the interior space listed at 9mm would not allow that, will it hold a deck of cards with the tray inside? Thanks, Robert

In the video, when the deck is first introduced, the box is not fully closed; the lid is simply placed over the deck.
Hi TCC Team, can this box used as well to force a card deck? Can I place two decks of cards (red and blue for example) in it and depending on which side I‘ll open it the red or the blue deck appears? I need to know if a complete deck of cards can be placed on each side of the box? Thanks and best from Germany Mathias

Unfortunately, due to the limited height, a full deck of cards cannot be placed in either side. In our test, 22 cards can be placed on each side, so the box can hold a total of 44 cards without affecting its function.
